Hope everyone enjoyed a nice Fourth of July weekend. We didn’t have rain to interfere, but it is badly needed.

Fairview United Methodist Church had its picnic on Sunday at its building.

Visitors in the home of Kate Berkstresser on Sunday afternoon were Mr. and Mrs. William Fagley and son from Ohio.

We hear Tammy Shotts has been in the hospital. We send get well wishes her way.

Glad to see Betty Malot is recuperating after a couple broken ribs. Continued recovery wishes are sent to her.

Aaron Shotts is in Montana taking courses for his master’s. We wish him good luck and a safe return.

Also a safe return to Barb Cutchall, who will be returning from Arizona.

Glad to hear Charlotte Crouse is doing well after having some surgery. Continued recovery wishes to her.We hear Richard Boden has been in and out of the hospital recently. We send get well wishes his way.

Household hint: Stretch the soap. You have one more load of wash and laundry soap just ran short, make it stretch by adding a quarter cup of baking soda. As a bonus, your clothes will smell fresh and feel soft as well.
