Carl H. Peck McConnellsburg, 74

Carl H. “Howdy” Peck, 74, McConnellsburg, Pa., died Saturday, June 26, 2010, in McConnellsburg, Pa.

He was born in Chambersburg, on April 16, 1936, the son of the late Howard C. and Mary E. (Culler) Peck. He was the husband of Sylvia M. (Rotz) Peck, whom he married on December 23, 1971.

He was a member of the McConnellsburg United Methodist Church, the Mt. Zion Lodge# 774 of Mc- Connellsburg, the Harrisburg Consistory, the Altoona Shrine, the Trestle Hollow Hunting Club in Wells Tannery, and a lifetime member of McConnellsburg Volunteer Fire Co. He had worked at the Chambersburg Dairymaid Milk Co., McConnellsburg; Tri-State Cable, Hancock; Mack Truck, Hagerstown; and was a Central Fulton School District bus driver.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by sons: David L. Peck of McConnellsburg; Kenneth R. (husband of Sonya) Peck of McConnells- burg; a sister, Mary Elizabeth Baker of Tyrone, Pa.; and loving grandchildren: Alex and Jenna Peck of McConnellsburg.

Funeral services were held at McConnellsburg United Methodist Church, Mc- Connellsburg, at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, June 30, 2010. Pastor John Godissart officiated. Interment was at Union Cemetery, Mc- Connellsburg.
