’70 Ed Oswald, a familiar figure for the past year at The Fulton County News office where he was employed as an apprentice printer and his

wife, Bonnie, died on Saturday afternoon, July 4, of severe injuries they received when the motorcycle on which they were riding crashed almost head-on into a car on Route 738, about 1.8 miles south of Cassville in Huntingdon County. Ed and Bonnie resided in McConnellsburg, but were in Huntingdon County for the holiday, visiting his parents, John and Helen Oswald of Bridgeport, who have

summer residence there. Ed started his employment at the News just a year ago. Bonnie was a graduate of Forbes Road High School and was from the Wells Tannery area.

Mrs. William Simmonds, neighbor and friend of Mrs. John Greathead from her home town in London, England, whom she had not seen for 18 years, was a guest in the Greathead home the past week.
