Series Of Court Sessions Held

Judges Richard J. Walsh and Shawn D. Meyers of the 39th Judicial District of the Fulton/Franklin County Court of Common Pleas presided over a series of court sessions held at Fulton Theatre on June 1 and 8.

Tracey Lynn Branche appeared in court on June 1 without an attorney and waived arraignment proceedings held on charges of possession of a small amount of marijuana, the use or possession of drug paraphernalia, driving under the influence and disregarding traffic lanes. Branche entered a plea of not guilty. A trial has tentatively been scheduled for the July 26 term of court.

Gary P. Haines Sr. appeared without legal counsel on charges of fraud. Haines waived arraignment and pleaded not guilty. His trial has been set for the July 26 trial term.

Laurice Haines appeared in court with her attorney for arraignment proceedings held on charges of fraud. On a motion by District Attorney Travis Kendall, Haines was permitted to participate in the Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition (ARD) program.

Shawn Edward Laman appeared without an attorney and entered a plea of not guilty to driving under the influence and summary offenses. Laman’s trial has been scheduled for the July 26 term of court.

Roger Allen Reimold appeared with his attorney on charges of driving under the influence and summary offenses. Reimold was sentenced to three months probation in connection with entering a guilty plea to drunk driving.

Travis Eugene Welsh appeared without an attorney and was admitted into the ARD program on charges of driving under the influence.

Gail Lynn Bohrer appeared with her attorney for sentencing on charges of driving under the influence and recklessly endangering another person. Bohrer was ordered to complete 90 days in the Franklin County Prison for drunk driving as well as 25 days in prison for reckless endangerment.

In a separate case, Bohrer was sentenced to six months probation for harassment.

A written court order was issued in the case involving Aaron Lee Deneen, who was charged with theft by unlawful taking and retail theft.

Kevin Lynn Strait was sentenced to complete 24 months probation for charges involving terroristic threats and simple assault. On an unrelated case involving driving under the influence and summary offenses, Strait will spend 72 hours in the Franklin County Prison.

Melissa Boster Anderson appeared in court on June 8 for arraignment and sentencing on charges of driving under the influence and summary offenses. Anderson will complete 12 months probation through the ARD program.

Juan Ramon Calderon appeared with his attorney for arraignment proceedings held on charges involving a controlled substance. Calderon entered a notguilty plea, and his trial has tentatively been scheduled for the July 26 term of court.

Thomas Clay Hollenshead appeared pro-se and was admitted into the ARD program on charges of driving under the influence.

Dennis Kobel will complete 12 months probation through the ARD program for driving under the influence.

Lisa Ann Smith entered a not-guilty plea to possession of a controlled substance and the use or possession of drug paraphernalia. Smith’s trial has tentatively been set for the July 26 term of court.

Crystal Dawn Stanley appeared with legal counsel and waived arraignment proceedings conducted on one count of possession of a controlled substance. Stanley pleaded not guilty. Her trial will be held during the July 26 court term.
