Johnnie’s Motel Site Of Incidents
Johnnie’s Motel at 709 Lincoln Way East, McConnellsburg, was the site of several incidents on Saturday, June 19, involving three Mc- Connellsburg residents.
At 3:30 a.m., state police troopers were dispatched to the motel where they determined 29-year-old Justin Thomas punched 32-yearold Jeremy Decker because Decker spoke to Thomas’ girlfriend. Decker fell on the ground, and Thomas allegedly punched the man in the face multiple times. Thomas, state police added, went into a room at the hotel. Decker reportedly followed, punched out the glass in the door of the room and fled in his vehicle.
Decker later came back to the scene in his vehicle and was arrested for driving under the influence and and criminal mischief. Charges of simple assault are pending against Thomas.
According to additional state police reports, the second incident at 1:26 p.m. involved an incident between Thomas and a 36-year-old female victim. Thomas allegedly violated a protection-fromabuse order by grabbing the woman by the arm and shoving her into a wall during an argument. The woman sustained minor injuries as a result of the altercation.
He was arraigned before Magisterial District Judge Devin Horne and released on $10,000 unsecured bail.
