Hospital Dedicates New Wing
Community residents turned out in large numbers Tuesday morning for the official ribbon-cutting ceremony to open the new specialty services and administrative wing of Fulton County Medical Center. The new 16,000-square-foot addition opens just one year after ground was broken by general contractor Palmer Construction Co. of McConnellsburg. The new $4.5 million wing’s first floor will house patient services and includes 15 exam rooms, two procedure rooms, a waiting area and Home Care Services, while the second floor will house information technology, accounting, the business office, human resources, community relations and development, the FCMC Foundation, administration and a community conference room. Above Jason Hawkins, FCMC president and CEO, makes welcoming remarks on Tuesday.
