Morris B. Ramsey, 75, Dover, Pa., died at 3:30 p.m., Wednesday, June 16, 2010, at his home.

Born January 2, 1935 at Wells Tannery, Pa., he was a son of the late Benjamin C. and Justina (Wiser) Ramsey.

Surviving are four sons: Morris “Ben” Ramsey and wife Patty, Harrisonville; Dan Ramsey and wife Robin, Dover, Pa.; Scott Ramsey and companion Teresa Seiders, McConnellsburg; and Brian Ramsey and wife Suzette, McConnellsburg; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; siblings: Calvin P. Ramsey, Harrisonville; Weldon B. Ramsey, Harrisonville; Edgar M. Ramsey. Mercersburg; Terry B. Ramsey, Harrisonville; Billy A. Ramsey, Harrisonville; Gloria Black, Three Springs; and Inez Chess and husband David, New Stanton, Pa.

He was of the Christian faith.

He was a member of the United Auto Workers Union. He retired from Caterpillar Inc., York, Pa., as a machinist. He was later employed by Johnson Controls, York, Pa.

He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict, serving with the U. S. Army.

Funeral services were held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, June 19, 2010, at the M. R. Brown Funeral Home, Hustontown. Pastor Denver Plessinger officiated. Interment was made at Wells Valley Methodist Cemetery, Wells Tannery.
