SF Holds Ag Olympics

June 3 was the date of the first annual Agricultural Olympics at Southern Fulton High School. Designed and set up by the Warfordsburg FFA students, 17 teams of students and faculty participated in 10 crazy agricultural events in hopes of winning the title of Agricultural Olympian.

Some events included turkey bowling, the ag man competition, rocket egg, tractastic and, of course, the sloppy hog. After a fun-filled afternoon of getting down and dirty, three teams rose to the top of the score board.

Coming in third place were the Moo Moos comprised of Howard Poole, Dale Blair, Crystal Appel, Kajin Bowers and Josh Pittman. Second place was won by the teacher team of of Mr. Sholes, Mr. Hollenshead, Mr. Lund and Mrs. Schriver. The winning team, walking away with the title of the first gold tire winners of the Southern Fulton Agricultural Olympics, were the Johnsonators made up of Olympians Nathan Keebaugh, Bailey Elbin, Morgan Mills, Ryan Harper and Amy Bard.
