FCMC Jail Bail Event Raises More Than $5K

Massage therapist John Crouse of MJ Massage was arrested in the FCMC Foundation Jail Bail fundraiser for rubbing people the wrong way. The FCMC Foundation is proud to announce that the community came together once again to bail their esteemed members out of jail.

The list of those arrested and brought in to face judge Nancy Younker included: Helen Overly, Jim Ifert, Leslie Paylor, Spence Perry, Loy Garber, Todd Alexander, Bill Hine, John Crouse, Deb Toothman, Jessica Ebersole, David Fagley, Dave Corvin, Tawnie House, Shannon Showalter, Shelby Knepper, Shari Rouzer, and Bill Baker.

Helen Overly and Deb Toothman had the highest bails and raised more than $1,400 combined. The event raised just over $5,100 to be used for health career scholarships in Fulton County.

Each year Fulton County Medical Center Foundation awards scholarships to local high school students and adult learners. FCMCF will award a total of three such scholarships totaling $4,500 during graduations ceremonies this June.
