We couldn’t have asked for a nicer Memorial Day weekend. The weather was great.

A nice crowd attended the services at Fairview United Methodist Church on Sunday evening. The program was by Stacey and Gene Cooper from Chatanooga, Tenn. They are known s the Reign Song folks.

Sorry to hear Earl McDaid doesn’t seem to be improving, so our prayers go out to him and his family.

Happy birthday wishes to Herbert Berkstresser Jr. on May 31 and James Bennett on May 30.

Fairview United Methodist Church will be having

their Vacation Bible School

starting Monday, June 14, .. through June 18. Schools will soon be out for the summer vacation. Best wishes to all students and faculty on a nice summer with lots of activities and be ready for next fall.

Congratulations to all the area graduates as Forbes Road will hold its commencement exercises Wednesday night at 7:00 p.m. in the auditorium.

Pastor Bill Kuhn just returned

form a trip out West to the Indian reservation.

Household hint: Remove crayon mark. Silver polish applied with a clean cloth will remove crayon marks on vinyl wall coverings. Concentrated dish detergent also works well.
