So. Fulton 21 Forbes Road 3

Southern Fulton tallied 13 runs in the fifth inning to seal up a sizeable 21-3 win over the Forbes Road Cardinals last Thursday evening. Lady Indians pitcher Kelsey White’s season record bumped up to 7-13 with the Sideling Hill League victory. White finished the game with 10 strikeouts, one walk, three hits and two earned runs. Taylor Leasure had three hits for Southern Fulton, which included a double and triple, and six RBIs. Teammate Carissa Gordon also recorded a pair of doubles during her three hits and three RBIs. Forbes Road pitcher Sammie Clippinger took the loss with three strikeouts, nine walks, 10 hits and 13 earned runs. Corri Parsons ended the 2010 season batting two-for-two with an RBI.

Southern Fulton 4 MHS 2

Southern Fulton jumped out to a four-run lead last Wednesday and cruised to a 4-2 win over the McConnellsburg Lady Spartans. Kelsey White secured her sixth win of the spring season for the Lady Indians with nine strikeouts, three hits and two earned runs. Alexus Mellott took the loss after recording three strikeouts, five walks, seven hits and two earned runs. Spartan Lisa DeShong went two-for-three with two runs scored and three stolen bases.
