Competes At Keystone State Games

Alexandra Treml, daughter of Russell Treml and Chris Treml of Harrisonville and granddaughter of Raymond and Millie Treml of Mercersburg and Marion Osarczuk of Altoona, Pa., competed at the Pennsylvania Keystone State games in gymnastics on May 21, 2010, in North Wales, Pa.

Alexandra won first place all around in Novice Optional Beginner Prep. Her team, Orange Crush, won first place. The results of Alexandra’s individual events were bars – first place; beam – second place; vault – second place and floor exercises – fourth place.

Alexandra choreographed her own floor routine to the song “Holding Out for a Hero,” from the movie “Footloose”. She has now qualified for the 2011 State Games of America which will be held in San Diego, Calif. Alexandra is a sixth grader at McConnellsburg Middle School.
