Omert E. Hann
Omert E. Hann, 98, Harrisburg, died Saturday, May 22, 2010, at Frey Village, Middletown.
He was born in Saluvia, Pa., and was the son of the late Edgar C. and Bertha J. Newman Hann.
He was retired from Bell Telephone of Pa. where he was employed as a utility engineer. He was a member of Mt. Calvary United Methodist Church, Lions Club of West Hanover and the Telephone Pioneers of America.
He was the widower of Beatrice R. Mitchell Hann, who died on January 22, 2000.
He is survived by his two daughters: Mary G. Hall of Westminster, Md., and Claire M. Zeiters of Harrisburg; 10 grandchildren; 17 greatgrandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
Graveside services were held on Wednesday, May 26, at 11 a.m. at Asbury Cemetery, Harrisonville. Rev. Jennifer Deutsch-Thomas officiated.
Hoover Funeral Homes & Crematory Inc., 6011 Linglestown Road, Harrisburg, was in charge of arrangements.
