In Memory

In memory of George “Henry” Plessinger, who passed away May 28, 2009: We do not need a special day To bring you to our minds The days we do not think of you Are very hard to find Each morning when we awake We know that you are gone And no one knows the

heartache As we try to carry on Our hearts still ache with

sadness And secret tears still flow What it meant to lose you No one will ever know Our thoughts are always

with you Your place no one can fill In life we loved you still There will always be a

heartache And often a silent tear But always a precious memory Of the days when you were here If tears would make a

staircase And heartaches make a lane We’d walk the path to heaven And bring you home again We hold you close within

our hearts And there you will remain To walk with us throughout

our lives Until we meet again Our familiy chain is broken

now And nothing seems the same But as God calls us one by

one The chain will link again.

In memory of our mother, Virginia M. Harr, on her birthday May 27: There is always a face before me A voice I would love to hear A smile I will always remember Of a mother I loved so dear. Deep in my heart lies a picture More precious than silver or gold It’s a picture of my mother, Whose memory will never

grow old. She’s with her blessed Saviour

now They are walking streets of gold Her home is now in heaven, That blessed promised land.

In memory of Margaret Harr:

My Mom Today I wear a rose so pure, So fragrant, and so white In memory of the one who

watched My little bed at night; Who smoothed my covers,

heard my prayers, And answered every call, As her little candle flickered

and Threw shadows on the wall. Her gentle touch, Her kindly way, And too, her loving smile They keep me and sustain me As I go life’s roughest mile Now I’d like to honor her And homage to her pay, In memory as I see that smile And hear her sweetly say: “Pass on to others all the love And kindness you can give That in your life my light

may shine, So long as you shall live” Although you have been gone For over 40 years, We still miss and love you
