Farmers Market Vouchers The Area Agency on Aging will again be sponsoring the senior farmer’s market voucher program. Participants who are eligible will be able to pick the vouchers up at the agency’s office or at a senior center beginning Monday, June 7. Individuals picking the vouchers up for another person will need to obtain a “proxy” form, which are available now, at the office or senior center in advance to be signed by the eligible individual. Income guidelines for receiving the vouchers will be published as soon as they are available.

Carwash/Bake Sale A carwash and bake sale will be held May 29 at Save-A-Lot in McConnellsburg from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.There will be baked goods, chicken corn soup, hot dogs, soda and water. Proceeds benefits Boy Scout Troop 43. Donations only for the carwash. Quarts of soup will be available.

Summer Reading Program Sign up for the Summer Reading Program, “Make a Splash @ Your Library,” begins Tuesday, June 1, at the Hustontown Branch Library and the Fulton County Library in McConnellsburg. Summer Reading Program Kickoff with entertainer, Jim Rule, will be held Friday, June 18, in the Community Room at the Fulton County Library at 10:00 a.m. Free Movie Friday, June 4, at 6:10 p.m. in the community room at the Fulton County Library.

FCCCS Baccalaureate Fulton County Community Christian School will hold baccalaureate services Thursday, May 27, at 7:00 p.m. Guest speaker will be former FCCCS administrator Rev. Russell Cheek. Family, friends and the general public are invited to share in celebrating with the 2010 graduating class. The school is located at 8159 Great Cove Road, Needmore. Elder Law Free Info Fulton County Medical Center Support Group Services will present a free information on elder law, estate planning and probate/estate administration on June 8, in the Barmont 3 conference room, Fulton County Medical Center, 214 Peach Orchard Road, McConnellsburg. FR Book Fair All are welcome to attend the Forbes Road Book Fair May 27 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. outside the Forbes Road cafeteria. Scholastic books are buy one, get one free and used books will be on sale at a reduced cost. Baked goods and beverages for sale. There will also live entertainment.
