Two Drivers Escape Harm

Two northern Fulton County residents escaped injury when their vehicles collided at the intersection of King Road and North Hess Road on Monday, May 10.

State police reported Rex A. Divens, 54, Waterfall, was travelling on North Hess Road and turned onto King Road and into the path of a southbound 2005 Nissan driven by Hustontown resident Bobbie J. Grubb. Divens and Grubb, 34, were both using a seat belt.

Both vehicles, including Divens 2001 Ford F-150 XLT, were disabled as a result of the 6:31 a.m. head-on crash. Lilley’s Towing and Tin Man Towing were called to the scene to remove the vehicles. Divens will be charged with driving on roadways laned for traffic.
