Helen M. Rosenberry McConnellsburg, 87
Helen M. Rosenberry, 87, a resident of the long-term care unit of Fulton County Medical Center, Mc- Connellsburg, and formerly of Fort Littleton, died at 12:05 a.m., Thursday, May 6, 2010 at the Medical Center.
Born November 23, 1922, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Fannie (Connelly) Seville.
She is survived by two daughters: Nancy Kyler, Hustontown, and Cinda Rosenberry, Martinsburg, W.Va.; six grandchildren; 16 greatgrandchildren and two great-great grandsons; and one brother, Melvin “Bud” Seville, Mercersburg.
Five brothers, one sister and one grandson preceded her in death.
She had attended Freedom Worship Center, Mc- Connellsburg.
Last employed at the Hustontown Branch Library, she worked hard to keep the library open. Prior to that, she worked as a cook at the VFW, McConnellsburg, as a cook and waitress at the former Johnson’s Hotel, Harrisonville, and spent more than 20 years at Stanley Co., Chambersburg.
She was a former member of the VFW Auxiliary, McConnellsburg, and was a charter member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Lodge #4274, Harrisonville.
She was known and loved by those she came in touch with.
Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, May 10, 2010, at Freedom Worship Center, McConnellsburg. Pastor Kevin Wade officiated. Interment was made in Union Cemetery, McConnellsburg.
M.R. Brown Funeral Home, Hustontown, was in charge of arrangements.
