Congratulations to Eric Patterson, son of Wade and Dorothy Patterson, on his upcoming graduation from SHC. Eric will be entering the army in July.

Hustontown Fire Co. will be hosting an open stage on May 22 beginning at 6 p.m. The kitchen opens at 5 p.m. Anyone is welcome to come out and share their talent or enjoy the talents of others.

Dusty Anderson is scheduled for surgery on Wednesday in Harrisburg. Please keep him in your prayers.

Get well wishes to Buck Mills, who is also scheduled for surgery this week.

Visiting this week with the Steve and Karen Grissinger family were Lynn Knepper, Nook, Janet and Kasey Brown, Brian and Tammy Fraker, Donna Locke, Travis Madden, Brent Carlson, Travis, Tawnya, Tristen and Ty Hall, Nora Grissinger, Maddison Wible, Ramon Martin, and Tom and Mamie Streightiff.

Kristi Streightiff Watkins was visiting friends in the Philadephia area this weekend.

Karen, Terri and Tammy Grissinger visited with Joe, Kristen, Hannah, Naomi, Sarah and Zachary Diehl on Saturday.

A special thank-you is extended to Aughwick Center Furniture for its donation of a location for the Angel Wings craft/flea market on Saturday. Thanks to all the vendors and to Penn Central Physical Therapy for their donations.

Angel Wings will be sponsoring a motorcycle ride on June 12. Contact Rick and Tonya Doyle or Steve Yocum for details. All proceeds will be donated to the Jesse Miller family of Shippensburg.

Relay For Life activities will be held at Southern Huntingdon High School on May 21 and 22. Opening ceremonies are at 6:30 p.m. on May 21. Please plan to attend and support the efforts.

Three Springs Fire Co. and Lions Club annual parade and carnival activities will kick off on Thursday, May 27, at 7 p.m. and continue through Sunday evening. The pageant will be held on Saturday instead of Sunday this year.

Ryan Bomgardner, Christian comedian and ventriloquist, gave an outstanding performance on Sunday at Immanuel Bible Church. I encourage anyone who has an opportunity to attend one of his performances to do so. His performance is geared to all ages and will keep you laughing long after the show is finished.
