You’ll find great bargains at the library’s book, plant and bake sale Friday, May 14, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturday, May 15 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Proceeds are being matched by the Modern Woodmen of America, so come out and support your library. You’ll also have a chance to meet local authors, Michael Henry and Susanne Reed, who will be on hand to sign copies of their books.
Thanks to everyone who supported the library’s Teen Advisory Board flower sale. The money raised from your assistance will help fund monthly teen nights at the library and will help purchase items for the library’s teen collection. The next teen night will be Saturday May 15 from 6 to 8 p.m. All 13- to 19-year -lds are welcome to attend this free event. Bring a friend and make some new ones. Have fun with the Wii, watch movies, or try out a new craft.
