The Southern Fulton Indians placed fourth out of a total of 12 teams Monday during the Inter-County Conference track and field championships, while rivals from McConnellsburg ended the day in ninth place. Tim Rohm garnered a third-place finish for the Indians in the 300 hurdles, while teammate Steven Meyer was third in the javelin with a throw of 161-5. Jacob Ashkettle finished out the day with a second-place ranking in the long jump and a third-place in the high jump. Lucas Banks was the big winner for the McConnellsburg Spartans with top honors in the discus with a toss of 143-9.5.

Chestnut Ridge 94

Southern Fulton 56

Southern Fulton clinched a total of five first-place finishes to place behind Chestnut Ridge by the final score of 94-56 last Thursday. Briar Kirk picked up two wins in the 1600 meter and 3200 meter, while Jeb Williams was victorious in the 400 meter. Nathan Keebaugh took the shot put, and Steven Meyer won the javelin.
