William R. Myers St. Thomas, 48

William Roy Myers, 48, St. Thomas, died Tuesday, April 27, 2010, at his home with his wife by his side.

He was born April 28, 1961, in Bethesda, Md., the son of the late Carroll Myers and Sandra Roberts Myers of Burnt Cabins. He was married to Valerie Murray Myers on July 3,1999.

He was a mechanic and tow truck driver in the Mc- Connellsburg area for several years. He enjoyed hunting and was an avid outdoorsman. He was a member of the Wheaton Rescue Squad in Wheaton, Md.

He is survived by his loving wife, Valerie F. Myers, St. Thomas; three stepchildren: Randall Staicos Jr. of Bel Air, Md.; Ronald Krenzer of Baltimore, Md.; and Jayme Krenzer of Glen Burnie, Md.; three granddaughters; his mother, Sandra Lee Myers of Burnt Cabins; and four siblings: Martha Pritchard of Monrovia, Md.; Teresa Ward of Pennsylvania; David Daniel Myers of Pennsylvania; Cassondra Shew of Shippensburg; and six nieces and nephews: Steven Myers, Bobby, Davey, Lauren and Sierra Myers and Cheyanne Shew. He was also devoted to his dog “Rambo” and his two friends: Kyle Oneil and Jeff Jarrett who helped him around the house.

He was preceded in death by his father, Carroll E. Myers

Funeral services were held 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 5, 2010, at Kelso-Cornelius Funeral Home in Mc- Connellsburg. Interment was at Path Valley Cemetery. Rev. Robert Benson officiated. Online condolences may be expressed at www.kelsocorneliusfuneralhome. com.
