Truax Takes Stage At Susquehanna University

Kevin Truax of Needmore performed in Susquehanna University’s spring theatre production of “A Midsummer Night’s Dream,” presented by the Department of Theatre in the Degenstein Theater from April 22 – 25. The play was directed by Dr. Doug Powers, associate professor of theater and chair of the theater department at Susquehanna.

Written by William Shakespeare in the mid-1590s, “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” displays the adventures of four Athenian lovers; a group of actors hoping to perform a play for the Duke of Athens, Theseus, and the Queen of the Amazons, Hippolyta; and fairies who inhabit a forest. This is one of Shakespeare's most popular works and has been performed all over the world.

Truax, a junior majoring in music performance at Susquehanna, played the part of Snug.

A 2007 graduate of Southern Fulton High School, he is the son of Larry and Sue Truax.
