Ralph Edwards of Hiram was struck by a tire one day last week while working on the Martz sawmill, receiving a rather severe injury to the head.
Harold Douglas of Thompson Township is employed at the Hillcrest Orchard.
Leo Northcraft and family have moved to the farm in Buck Valley recently vacated by Clem Wigfield.
Myda Schetrompf of Lashley has been assigned the Barnes Gap School for the 1930-31 term.
Mike Northcraft and lady friend, Iona Q. Cumber, attended the dance in Buck Valley Saturday evening.
A Chevrolet coach, driven by Morse Warthin of Mc- Connellsburg, and a Ford roadster, driven by Tom Hess of Big Cove Tannery, collided head on on South Second Street Monday evening. There was considerable damage, but the only injury was to a daughter of Mr. Hess, who received a cut above the left eye.
The little child of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Deshong of McConnellsburg was seriously injured last week by coming in contact with a manure spreader. The child is in critical condition in Chambersburg Hospital with a broken leg and possible internal injuries.
Hon. Benjamin K. Focht, candidate for Congress in the coming primary election, was making political calls in Mc- Connellsburg on Saturday.
