Car Rear-Ended

A 2003 Pontiac Grand Prix was rear-ended along Route 655 when its driver stopped to avoid hitting a deer on Thursday, April 22. According to state police, Jeffrey Bliss, 39, of Harrisonville sustained minor injuries when his car was struck by a southbound 1987 Ford Ranger operated by Kyle Straub, 23, also of Harrisonville. Two passengers, who were not identified by troopers, were transported to Fulton County Medical Center for treatment of injuries sustained in the 8:44 p.m. accident in Licking Creek Township. Both drivers were using a seat belts.
