Clarence A. Truax Jr. McConnellsburg, 76

Clarence A. Truax Jr., 76, McConnellsburg, died Tuesday, April 20, 2010, at Fulton County Medical Center.

Born in McConnellsburg June 13, 1933, he was the son of the late Clarence Albert Truax Sr. and Georgie Ellen (Knable) Truax.

In his earlier years, he had attended Corner Brethren Church in Big Cove Tannery and worked for Harold “Pee Wee” Truax as a plumber for more than 20 years.

He is survied by daughter, Christina K. Speelman, Mercersburg; sister: Pearl Kruhm, Needmore; brothers: George Truax, Greencastle; Harold N. “Pee Wee” Truax, McConnellsburg; grandchildren: James A. Speelman and Elizabeth L. Speelman.

He was preceded in death by sisters: Dorothy Pittman, Alma Hill, Betty Howell and brother James Melvin Truax.

Funeral services were held at Howard L. Sipes Funeral Home Inc., Mc- Connellsburg, at 11:00 a.m., Friday, April 23. Pastor Richard Bernhard officiated. Burial was made in Union Cemetery.

Howard L. Sipes Funeral Home Inc., McConnellsburg, was in charge of arrangements.
