PennDOT To Conduct 2010 Outreach Session In Fulton County

An individual Transportation Outreach meeting has been scheduled by PennDOT’s Engineering District 9 for each of the six counties that make up the district.

The Fulton County Outreach Program has been scheduled for Friday, April 30, at the Fulton County Maintenance Office in Mc- Connellsburg. The meeting will begin at 1:30 p.m.

District Executive Thomas A. Prestash said, “This is the 12th consecutive year that PennDOT’s District 9 has conducted Outreach meetings for legislators, municipal officials, planning and economic development agencies, and community leaders in each of our six counties. Outreach is an initiative to further communicate with our partners in the various municipalities throughout our district along with community leaders.”

This year’s program will include an overview of PennDOT’s highway and bridge projects planned for the county in 2010 as well as a chance to discuss PennDOT county maintenance operations. A special segment of the program will address concerns and topics submitted on a pre-meeting questionnaire by attendees. Each session should last about 90 minutes.

The program will be held Friday, April 30, at 1:30 p.m. at Fulton County Maintenance Office, 22907 Great Cove Road, McConnellsburg.
