Southern Fulton 4

Northern Bedford had 11 runners cross home plate in the third inning of last Thursday’s match that led to a runaway 18-4 victory over the Southern Fulton Lady Indians. Erin Deneen had two hits for the Indians, who received RBIs from Taelor Morton, Bailey Elbin and Emily Barton. Kelsey White took the loss with eight walks, nine hits and 14 earned runs.

Everett 15

Forbes Road 5

Everett only needed five innings to finish off the Forbes Road Lady Cardinals last Thursday evening. The Warriors clinched the Sideling Hill League game by the final score of 15-5. Cardinal pitcher Corri Parsons lasted all five innings and tallied six walks, 11 hits and seven earned runs.

Southern Fulton 0

Fannett-Metal blanked Southern Fulton with seven unanswered runs over the weekend, handing the Lady Indians their fifth loss of the spring season. Kelsey White’s pitching record dropped to 2- 5 after posting five strikeouts, three walks, eight hits and five earned runs.

McConnellsburg 2

Southern Fulton tallied six runs in the fourth inning and held on for the 8-2 win over the McConnellsburg Lady Spartans last Wednesday evening. Indian pitcher Kelsey White saw her season record increase to 2-3 after recording eight strikeouts, one walk, six hits and only one earned run. White also added a pair of hits at the plate, while Ashley Sigel had two hits and a pair of RBIs. Bailey Elbin had Southern Fulton’s lone extra-base hit, a double. McConnellsburg pitcher Alexus Mellott finished the Sideling Hill League game with two strikeouts, two walks, nine hits and five earned runs. Teammate Angie Baughman batted two-for-two, and Sam McQuade posted a double.

Hancock 11 Forbes Road 1

Hancock broke last Wednesday’s non-league match wide open in the final three innings of the game, scoring a total of seven runs during a 11-1 ousting of the Forbes Road Cardinals. Lady Cardinal Cecely Martz lasted slightly more than five innings with two strikeouts, seven walks, three hits and four earned runs. Samantha Clippinger had a triple during the game.

Fannett-Metal’s pitching dominated Forbes Road Monday, with the Tigers easily clinching the Sideling Hill League game 13-1. Corri Parsons was handed her second loss of the season for the Lady Cardinals after recording four walks, nine hits and four earned runs during the first three innings of the match.

Pitcher Cecely Martz gave up five earned runs over three innings on Monday during the Forbes Road Cardinals’ 15-0 loss to Fannett- Metal. Martz also posted one strikeout, five walks and four hits during the league match-up.
