Stabbing Stemmed From Burglary
HAMBURG, Pa. (AP) – Authorities in eastern Pennsylvania say a stabbing death in a row house stemmed from a botched burglary attempt.
State police say 21-yearold Joshua Rahn died after he was stabbed shortly before 10 a.m. Friday.
Police say Rahn and another man planned to steal drugs, money and electronic equipment from the home, so Rahn broke in and hid in the basement. The other man texted information to Rahn while he visited the residents Thursday night.
Police say Rahn decided to rob them anyway and attacked one man in a thirdfloor bedroom and was stabbed by the other. Rahn’s alleged confederate was charged with conspiracy to commit robbery and burglary and one of the roommates was arrested on a drug count.
