3 Charged In Home Invasion Robbery Slaying

ALLENTOWN, Pa. (AP) – Authorities in eastern Pennsylvania say three people have been arrested in the death of a man killed in a home invasion robbery.

Lehigh County District Attorney James Martin and Allentown Police Chief Roger MacLean say the Allentown residents are charged with the July 2008 death of 47- year-old David Walterick.

Authorities say 19-yearold Marcus Breeland, 19- year-old Bobby Riddick Jr. and 44-year-old Terrie Collopy were charged with homicide, robbery, burglary and criminal conspiracy. The three were arraigned Friday and sent to Lehigh County Prison without bail.

Listed numbers for the defendants could not be found Sunday and it was unclear whether they had attorneys.

Almost seven years ago, Breeland, then 12 years old, spoke out against violence in memory of his father, who was gunned down in Allentown in 1992.
