Steve and Karen Grisfamily singer visited with Mike, Patty, Chris and Kevin Pintozzi and Marty, Denise Sinkiewicz and family on Saturday evening and enjoyed a campfire.

Terri Grissinger visited with Joe, Kristin, Hannah, Naomi, Sarah and Zachary Diehl on Wednesday evening.

Buzz and Bea Covert were busy last weekend getting their potato patch planted.

A few lucky mushrooms hunters have been busy finding the tasty morels.

Donna Locke and Ruth Grissinger spent a nice sister day at a Pampered Chef open house at the home of Lisa Truax in Needmore last Saturday.

A nice covered-dish meal was enjoyed on Friday by Ruth Grissinger, John and Carol Puskarich, Jude and Marybeth Harrington and family at the Harrington home.

The Angel Wings girls along with Jeremy Wible as chauffer spent an interesting and informative evening at the Relay For Life meeting on Thursday. Please keep this year’s Relay For Life sponsors, participants, teams, committee members and leaders in your prayers.

Irene Park and Donna Locke spent Friday in Chambersburg and enjoyed lunch and sweets from Jim’s Market.

Orbisonia United Methodist Church began a very informal and relaxed Sunday evening service on Sunday, April 17, at 7 p.m. Anyone is welcome to attend.

Immanuel Bible Church will hold a congregational meeting on Sunday, April 24, followed by the annual rally day round-up (weather permitting). Everyone is welcome to attend.

Three Springs Fire Co. will be hosting a turkey and ham dinner on May 2 beginning at 11 a.m.

Any avid baseball fans are urged to contact Bollman bus tours for a group attending the Pirates vs. Phillies game on July 3.

Five-dollar raffle tickets are available for a drawing the week of June 15 to 19 based on the straight evening daily lottery number to benefit Angel Wings. Contact Ruth Grissinger at 814-447- 3617 if you are interested in helping to sell or purchase tickets. Tickets are also available at Wakefield’s Auto in Shade Gap, Penn Central PT, Carolyn at Sandy Ridge Market or Tami Ulsh and Deb Snyder. Angel Wings is a group of volunteers in a nonprofit organization helping to fill needs of many folks in our area.
