Lois D. Heinbaugh, 83, Mercersburg, died at 7:45 a.m., Wednesday, April 7, 2010, at her home.

Born March 11, 1927, in Locust Level, Pa., she was a daughter of the late Isaac and Carrie Hege Dulebohn.

She was a 1944 graduate of Greencastle High School. She was a former employee of the former Frick Co. of Waynesboro and Mercersburg Academy. She then assited in the operation of the family farm.

An active member of Mt. Tabor Lutheran Church of Fairview, Md., she was a former organist, Sunday School teacher, council member and a member of Lutheran Church Women and also a member of Mercersburg Historical Society.

Her husband, Harry E. Heinbaugh, preceded her in death July 7, 2003.

Surviving are daughters: Sue J. (Mrs. Robert H.) Stoner, Gay E. (Mrs. William B.) Yeatts, Lou A. (companion of Paul Dzieciol) Heinbaugh, all of Mercersburg; and a son, Mark A. (husband of Tam-my) Heinbaugh of Ephrata, Pa.; eight grandsons; three granddaughters; and six greatgrandchildren; sisters: Anna Mae McDonald, Hagerstown; Jane Sogegian, Franklin, N.C.; Mary Joyce Shatzer, Middletown, Md., and brothers: Joseph Dulebohn, Greencastle; George Dulebohn, Lodi, N.Y.; John Dulebohn, Chambersburg; and Thomas Dulebohn, Washington, D.C.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Edgar Dulebohn.

Graveside services were held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, April 10, in Fairview Cemetery, Mercersburg, followed by memorial services at 11:30 a.m., in Mt. Tabor Lutheran Church, Fairview, Md. Rev. Allen Reed officiated.
