Bernard S. Santor
Born in Or- wingsburg, Pa., he was the son of the late Stanley and Eva Althea Peifley Santo.
He was a 1952 graduate of Orwigsburg High School, attended Kutztown State College and attended University of Notre Dame.
He was retired from the former Home Federal Bank in Hancock, as vice president.
He was a member of Hancock Lions Club.
He was active in the Hancock Little League; a member and treasurer of Hancock Republican Club.
He was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church, where he was a corporator.
He was formerly active and past president of the PTA.
He is survived by his wife, E. Joann Divel Santo, whom he married October 28, 1962, in Baltimore, Md.; two daughters: Lisa Santor, Hagerstown; Jann Santor Hewett and husband Shannon, Hancock; one son, Todd Santor, and wife Danette, Hancock; four grandchildren: Rachel and Samuel Haines and Karragan and Koleman Hewett; and also a number of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Russell Divel.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at St. Peter Catholic Church at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, April 10. Rev. John Lombardi was the celebrant. Burial was made in the adjoining church cemetery.
