Hobo Stories At Historical Society Dinner Meeting
Matthew Dodd will entertain dinner guests Thursday evening, April 20, with “Songs and Stories of the American Hobo” following a 6:00 p.m. meal at the Hustontown Firehall. Sponsored by the Fulton County Historical Society, this annual dinner will be a full-course meal with two meats. The community is invited to attend.
Meal reservations need to be made a week in advance with a check of $12 per adult and $6 for children mailed to the Historical Society at Box 115, McConnellsburg, PA 17233 or given to program chairperson Monica Seville 717-485-4454. The charge covers both the meal and entertainment. A list with your name will be at the door when you arrive.
The entertainment will follow a report on Historical Society activities and recognition of a local person as Historian of the Year. For more information, contact Society President Dick Miller at 485- 3412.
