Crash Kills 3

HARRISBURG, Pa. (AP) – State police say a station wagon crashed into a guard rail and went down an embankment, killing three young children.

Police in Harrisburg say a 57-year-old Duncannon woman was driving the car east on Route 322 in Dauphin County’s Middle Paxton Township just after 10 p.m. Saturday when it left its lane of travel, went over the guardrail and hit a guide wire, went airborne and hit a tree, and then went down the 50-foot embankment and landed upside down.

Dauphin County Deputy Coroner Lynn Choborda pronounced dead a 5-yearold boy and a 3-year-old boy and girl believed to be twins.
