First of all, we want to
thank everyone for their
prayers and for the prayers
from all the churches in our
community. They were greatly
appreciated. Also, for all
the cards, telephone calls
and acts of kindness shown
us while I was in the Holy
Spirit Hospital during my
stays in February and March.
A special thank-you to Dr.
Wilson Jackson for the procedures
he performed during
that time and for the care of
the medical staff in February.
Then, during my stay at

Holy Spirit in March, for
open heart surgery done by
Dr. John Pennock, a wonderful
cardiovascular surgeon.
Also, for Dr. Harry Johnston’s
care as my family physician.
We want to thank the Mc-
Connellsburg Volunteer Ambulance
Co. for its quick response
to our home on February
17 following the snowstorm
and my need for medical
attention immediately
and the West Shore Ambulance
Club for transportation
to Holy Spirit.
Thanks also to our pastor,
Chris Elliott, for his
prayers, concern, visits and
acts of kindness and to Pastor
William Swope for his visits
and concern. Thank you
to Ralph and Dorothy Miller,
who played an important
part and helped Carolyn
through the last two months.
Thank you, Carolyn, so much
for your care and all you have
done for me since my return
God bless you all.
