The Southern Fulton Indians easily handled West Branch last Thursday but fell to the Everett Warriors by nine points during a nonleague meet. The 3200 relay team comprised of Briar Kirk, Josh Voight, Zach Ziemba and Nicki Strait finished in first-place, while Nathan Keebaugh also placed first in the shot put with a throw of 38-8.5. Teammates Steven Meyer and Dillan Cross took the javelin and pole vault, respectively.

Camp Hill 83 Fairfield 60

McConnellsburg 46

McConnellsburg finished third last Thursday during a tri-meet against Camp Hill and Fairfield. Spartan Lucas Banks picked up two firstplace finishes in the field with victories in the shot put and discus, while Ryan Defibaugh was first in both the long and triple jumps. Cody McCulloch rounded out the meet with top honors in the high jump.

McConnellsburg 73

With a victory in the 1600 relay event, Mercersburg Academy squeaked out a three-point win over Mc- Connellsburg last Tuesday during a non-league meet. Spartan teammates Dillan Hollenshead, Lucas Banks and Cody McCulloch all garnered two first-place finishes to lead McConnellsburg during the 76-73 loss. Hollenshead posted victories in the 800 meter and javelin, while Banks was victorious in the shot put and discus. McCulloch took the 110 hurdles and high jump, and Colby Sowers rounded out the day with a win in the 400 meter.

Southern Fulton’s Jacob Ashkettle tallied three firstplace finishes to lead the Indians onto a quad-meet victory last Tuesday in Hancock, Md. Ashkettle was victorious in the 200 meter as well as in the high and long jumps. Teammate Nathan Keebaugh followed with a pair of wins in the shot put and discus, and Briar Kirk and Tim Rohm, respectively, took the pole vault and 300 hurdles.
