FR Senior High Student Of The Month

Kolby Buterbaugh, a senior at Forbes Road High School, has been named Senior High Student of the Month for February by the high school faculty. Students are selected by their teachers based on attendance, grades, citizenship and being a positive leader in the classroom.

Kolby is enrolled in the business curriculum and says that office management is his favorite class. Kolby’s teacher, Mrs. Smith, says, “It has been my pleasure to have known Kolby, and I am very proud of his accomplishments. At the same time, I am sad that this is his last year with us. Kolby is the ideal business student, and I know he will be successful as he begins another chapter in his life.”

Kolby plays Cardinal baseball and is active in Varsity Club and FBLA. He also keeps busy working at Peck’s Refuse. His plans for the future are to attend Kaplan University, majoring in business administration.

Kolby is the son of Mary Waite, and he has one older sister. In his spare time, he enjoys riding his 4- wheeler.

When a student is named Student of the Month by the faculty, it is in recognition of a promising young person who shows strength and character in their daily school life. Kolby has impressed his teachers as being a good example of these students.
