The nice weather over the weekend turned nasty on Sunday. Those spring rains are starting. Maybe Easter weekend will be nice.

A nice crowd of folks visited the flea market at St. Thomas United Metho-dist Church building on Friday and Saturday. A lot of vendors were set up. It is always nice to be with those folks over there.

Our sympathy is extended to the family and relatives on the tragic death of Viryl Long last week.

Happy birthday to Donald Berkstresser of Needmore on April 4. Belated happy birthday to Pastor Bill Kuhn on March 29 and Steve Weller on March 30.

Holy Thursday services will be at Knobsville United Methodist Church at 7:00 p.m. Good Friday services at Fairview United Methodist Church at 7:00 p.m.

Easter sunrise services will be at Center United Methodist Church if storming. If not, it will be held in Dick Knepepr’s field at 6:30 a.m., with breakfast following at Center Church building.

United Methodist Women Cluster Enrichment will be held at Fairview United Methodist Church Wednesday evening, April 7, at 7:00 p.m. All women are invited.

Happy Easter to everyone as we celebrated this special occasion of the Master’s resurrection.

Household hint: Seasoning jar saver. An easy way to sew tiny seeds like carrot, lettuce or radish is to use a seasoning jar with shaker lid. Choose one with the right size holes for the size of your seeds then just shake it along the garden row. A salt or pepper shaker works well too.
