In Memory

In loving memory of our
mother, Catherine Bivens, who
passed away one year ago on
March 10, 2009:
We thought of you today with love
But that is nothing new
We thought about you yesterday
And days before that too
We often speak your name
Now all we have are our memories
And your picture in a frame
Without you nothing is the same
A million times we have cried
And a million tears have fallen
If loving could have saved you
You would never have died
And though we cannot see you
You are always at our side
And in our hearts
It broke our hearts to lose you
On that day that God called you home
But you did not go alone
For a part of us went with you
On that day
Deeply missed by

March 23, 2007:
Daddy loved the Lord and put
Him first in all he said and did. He
enjoyed people, loved to tell stories
and found good in everything
and everybody.
He was the glue that held us
together. We’re not the same
without him. An amazing man
who I was blessed to have as my
I miss him every day and love
him with all my heart. I am so
very proud to be his daughter.

Though her smile is gone forever
And her hand we cannot touch
