ACS Daffodil Days 2010 Begins

Give daffodils, give hope

A new season of hope has arrived in Fulton County, thanks for the American Cancer Society Daffodil Days, which began on Monday, March 15, 2010. Volunteers throughout the area have begun to distribute thousands of daffodils to homes, offices, hospitals, and places of worship.

This is the 37th annual American Cancer Society Daffodil Days, a campaign that has been bringing the first flower of spring – the flower of hope – to thousands of local residents since 1973.

Flowers are available at the Fulton County Medical Center on Thursday and Friday of this week from 8:00am to 3:00pm. Any questions about purchasing flowers at the Medical Center, please contact Lanette Deneen at 717- 485-6334.

For more information, please call the American Cancer Society office at 717-264-6266.
