Rachel DeShong of Mc- Connellsburg is pleased to announce the engagement of her grandson, D.J. Shindle of Greencastle, to Kara Bushman of Spring Run.

D.J. is a 2009 graduate of Shippensburg University with a degree in business and accounting.

Kara is attending Shippensburg University.

The couple are planning a June 12, 2010, wedding.
