New nonfiction includes “Making the Rounds with Oscar: The Extraordinary Gift of an Ordinary Cat” by David Dosa, “The Reader’s Digest Guide to Eye Care” by Jennifer Weizer, M.D., “The Cook’s Herb Garden: Grow, Harvest, Cook” by Jeff Cox, “This Book is Overdue: How Librarians and Cybrarians Can Save Us All” by Marilyn Johnson, and “Back to Basics Traditional Kitchen Wisdom : Techniques and Recipes for Living a Simpler, More Sustainable Life” edited by Andrea Chesman.

All are invited to attend the Fulton County Library’s teen art contest open house on Saturday, March 20, 2010, from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. The art contest and open house are part of Annetta Hartman’s Girl Scout Gold Award and SOAR high school project. The library would like to thank all the talented teens who entered the contest. Their artwork is on display now at the library.

The library’s first teen night will be held Saturday, March 27 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Fulton County Library. Teens are invited to join us for an evening of gaming, pizza, movies and crafts.
