The FCMC Auxiliary presents $795 to FCMC activities director Elisha Feight to go toward the Zoom Zoom Campaign for the purchase of a new 14-passenger van. In memory of her husband, Jesse, Elaine Armstrong, membership chair of the Fulton County Medical Center Auxiliary, requested memorial contributions be earmarked for the Zoom Zoom Campaign in lieu of flowers. Jesse was a resident at Fulton County Medical Center Long-Term Care on Shimer Trail through December 2009. The FCMC Auxiliary collected the contributions and presented a check totaling $795 to FCMC Foundation Zoom Zoom campaign.

The Zoom Zoom Campaign was established to purchase a 14-passenger van that will enhance the quality of life for the 67 people who reside at the FCMC facility. From dining out to fishing trips, the number of residents who will be able to participate in outside events will greatly increase. The campaign goal is $65,000 and will run through June 30, 2010. This year’s FCMC foundation dinner auction proceeds will benefit the Zoom Zoom Campaign.

For more information on how to donate to the auction, the “Zoom Zoom” campaign, or for tickets to the dinner auction slated for April 17, contact the community relations and development department at 717- 485-6116 or 717-485-6115.
