On Saturday, February 20, at McConnellsburg Alumni Community Building, approximately 260 came to show their support of Mc- Connellsburg Middle School seventh-grader, Justin Hudson, who is battling cancer.

Modern Woodman of America helped in this benefit dance with a matching funds grant. A little more than $3,500 was raised, with more coming in to help Justin and his family. Phantom Shadow entertained the large group with a variety of music.

Justin had just gotten out of Hershey Medical Center and was allowed to attend the dance to see all his friends and to thank everyone for their support. Justin’s dad, Kevin Hudson, from Alaska, is Justin’s match for his bone marrow transplant. He had his procedure done at Hershey Medical Center on Monday, February 22, with plans for Justin to go back to Hershey this Friday for his procedures to start.

Please continue to pray for this family and hope that this bone marrow transplant will give Justin many more birthdays. Justin and his family would like to thank everyone for their continued support and all of their prayers. Everyone can stay updated on Justin’s condition by connecting to the Hershey Care Pages.
