Forbes Road 46

Forbes Road finished its regular season Monday night falling to the Fannett-Metal Tigers by the final score of 75-46. Teammates Kaili Hockensmith and Stephanie Worthing finished with 15 and 11 points, respectively, for the Lady Cardinals.

Southern Fulton 53 Hancock 28

Southern Fulton was guaranteed a home court advantage in the first round of district playoffs after easily defeating Hancock, Md., Saturday by the score of 53-28. Chelsie Eader led her Lady Indian teammates with 14 points, and Amy Bard followed closely with 13 points and four steals. Lacey Beatty had nine points and six assists, while Jenna Hollenshead added nine points and nine rebounds.

So. Fulton 62 Forbes Road 41

Southern Fulton extended its 12-point lead to a 21-point victory over the Forbes Road Lady Cardinals last Wednesday evening. Lacey Beatty led her team with a game-high 17 points and five assists, while Amy Bard tallied 14 points. Chelsie Eader netted 11 points and made five steals. Morgan Mills was the team’s next highest scorer with seven points. Jessica Gearhart, Corri Parsons and Sammie Clippinger all had nine points for Forbes Road.

Chestnut Ridge 41

McConnellsburg 32

McConnellsburg attempted a valiant fourth-quarter comeback scoring 19 points, but Chestnut Ridge still pulled off the victory last Wednesday for the 41-32 Sideling Hill League win. Casey Pollock was the lone Spartan to reach double figures during the game with 10 points and seven rebounds. Santana Ramsey and Samantha Feagley followed with seven and six points, respectively.

McConnellsburg 34

McConnellsburg was no match for Fannett-Metal last Thursday, with the Tigers’ offense paving the way for a 60-34 Sideling Hill League trouncing of the Lady Spartans. Nikki Mc- Quade made four three-point shots during the match and finished with 14 points, Valerie Green was the Lady Spartans’ next highest scorer with six points.

Bishop Walsh 35

Chelsie Eader poured in 23 points for Southern Fulton, which ended its non-league game against Bishop Walsh last Thursday in an overwhelming 31-point victory. Lacey Beatty and Amy Bard both contributed 14 points, and Bard also had 10 rebounds, three assists and seven steals.

McConnellsburg 33

Belleville Mennonite 14

McConnellsburg ended its 12- game losing streak with a decisive 33-14 victory over Belleville Mennonite last Tuesday morning. Casey Pollock had a teamhigh seven points from the foul line. Pollock also grabbed six rebounds and dished out three assists. Valerie Green netted six points, and Nikki Fleming and Rachel Porterfield both contributed five points.

Red Lion Christian 60

Jenae Gordon pumped in 16 points for the Fulton County Community Christian School Chargers during a 60-31 loss to Red Lion Christian. Gordon also had four assists, and Andrea Leedy produced seven points and eight rebounds.
