Julia P. Truax
Julia Pauline Truax, 80, Warfordsburg, died Thurdsay, February 18, 2010, at Berkeley Springs Rehab and Nursing facility, Berkeley Springs.
Born in Fulton County, she was the daughter of the late Harry T. and Wavey Stotler Mills and widow of Harold H. Truax, who passed away September 15, 2004.
She was a homemaker and had been employed by the Park N Dine Restaurant in Hancock.
She was a member of Cedar Grove Christian Church, Warfordsburg.
She is survived by a daughter, Doris A. Kerns, Berkeley Springs; and one son, Raymond P. Truax Sr., Warfordsburg; six sisters: Kathleen Yuen, Mae Tucillo, Alice Younker, Peggy McAllister, Edna Knable, Susan Peck; four brothers: Harold Mills, Gerald “Boe” Mills, Roger Mills, Wilbur Peck; five grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Herman Truax, and a sister, Betty Lou Mills; and a brother, Harry Mills Jr.
Services were held Tuesday, February 23, at 11:00 a.m., at Cedar Grove Christian Church. Rev. William Swope officiated. Burial was made in the adjoining church cemetery.
