FR Junior High Student Of The Month

Kinsey Cutchall, a junior at Forbes Road High School, has been named senior high Student of the Month for February by the high school faculty. Students are selected by their teachers based on attendance, grades, citizenship and being a positive leader in the classroom.

Kinsey is enrolled in the academic curriculum and says that family consumer science is her favorite class. Kinsey’s teacher Mrs. Truax says, “Kinsey is a very conscientious student who has a genuine interest in others. The quality of her work is exceptional. She is able to work independently to create beautiful masterpieces. I enjoy having her in class.”

Kinsey is president of her class as well as the National Honor Society. She also keeps busy with extracurricular activities such as field hockey, student council and FCCLA. Kinsey attends Knobsville United Methodist Church, where she is actively involved in the youth group and dance. Her plans for the future are to attend college in the health field.

Kinsey’s parents are Richard and Debra Cutchall, and she has two older sisters. In her spare time she enjoys scrapbooking and shopping.

When a student is named Student of the Month by the faculty, it is in recognition of a promising young person who shows strength and character in their daily school life. Kinsey has impressed her teachers as being a good example of these students.
