Chelsea McDonald Chelsea McDonald The Bedford County Regional Educational Foundation of Allegany College of Maryland has announced the awarding of scholarships to eight students in the current 2009-10 academic year.

Joshua Bollman of New Paris, Pa., received a Pennsylvania Student Scholarship. He is a computer science major. A 2007 graduate of Chestnut Ridge High School, he is the son of Penny and Ronald Bollman Jr.

Kayla Diehl of Everett, Pa., was presented a Memorial Hospital of Bedford County Foundation Scholarship. She is a dental hygiene major. A 2007 graduate of Bedford High School, she is the daughter of David and Lisa Diehl.

Amanda Henry of Everett, Pa., received the Bedford County Human Service Committee Scholarship. A major in that curriculum, she is a 2000 graduate of Everett Area High School. She is employed at Heartland Hall in Bedford, Pa., and has a son, Lance.

Amanda Keefer of McConnellsburg, Pa., was awarded the Everett Cash Mutual Insurance Group Scholarship. She is a business administration major. A 2008 McConnellsburg High School graduate, she has worked at Sheetz. She is the daughter of Terry Keefer and Kay Clark.

Chelsea McDonald of Mc- Connellsburg, Pa., was presented a John H. Jordan Memorial Scholarship. She is a dental hygiene major. A 2008 McConnellsburg High School graduate, she has worked at Sheetz. She is the daughter of Tracey Harris and Charles McDonald.

Shanalyn Mills of Everett, Pa., was presented a Memorial Hospital of Bedford County Foundation Scholarship. She is a prephysical therapist assistant major. A 2009 graduate of Northern Bedford County High School, she is the daughter of Shawn and Natasha Mills.

Kristin Russell of Hopewell, Pa., was presented a Dr. Earl Shope Memorial Scholarship. She is an applied technical studies major. A 2008 graduate of Tussey Mountain High School, she is the daughter of Donald and Justine Russell.

Jessica Taylor of Six Mile Run, Pa., was presented a Bedford County Regional Education Foundation Scholarship. She is an early childhood education major. A 2009 graduate of Tussey Mountain High School, she is the daughter of Lori Taylor.
