Get well wishes to Dave LeBeau, Carl Houck, Carolyn Detwiler, Lois Stevens, Dick Rhoades, Jessie Rhoades and Mary Mort.

Tom and Mamie Streightiff, Chuck and Polly Streightiff, and John and Gail Young enjoyed an outing to Myrtle Beach last weekend for some games of golf. They drove many hours only to find the snow had followed them south.

The Bride of Christ Retreat on Saturday was a wonderful and blessed experience shared by many in the community.

Angel Wings will be hosting a spring fling craft bazaar and picnic chicken dinners on March 13 and 14 at the Orbisonia Lion’s Club. If you’d like to make a donation to defray expenses, please contact Ruth Grissinger. Donations can also be made in care of Angel Wings at Community State Bank locations.

Deb Snyder and Ruth Grissinger enjoyed the Bride of Christ Retreat on Saturday.

Cameron and Braydon Locke enjoyed the weekend with Gordon and Donna Locke and Aunt Irene Park and Joy.

Visitors with the Steve and Karen Grissinger family this week were Donna Locke, Braydon Locke, Irene Park, Nora Grissinger, Tom and Mamie Streightiff, Travis Madden and Brent Carlson.

Tammy Grissinger and Ramon Martin visited with Buzz and Bea Covert on Sunday afternoon. They also visited with Nook and Janet Brown.

Terri Grissinger and seven Huntingdon Area High School students attended the ACES FFA conference in Harrisburg over the weekend.

Karen Grissinger enjoyed a short visit with Dan and Carol Jenakovich on Sunday afternoon.

Alayna Gaff was a “souper” helper at the Immanuel Bible Church soup fest this weekend. Irene Locke also enjoyed helping with soup preparations on Saturday. A big thank-you goes to all those who made donations and for the super cooks and helpers.

Three Springs Fire Co. will be holding a chicken and waffles dinner on March 7 beginning at 11 a.m. Eatin or takeouts will be available.

Hustontown Volunteer Fire Co. will be hosting a shooting match on Saturday beginning at 1 p.m.
