So. Fulton 58 McConnellsburg 33

After a long layoff due to inclement weather, the Southern Fulton Indians returned to the court last Friday evening to dish out a big 58-33 loss to the Mc- Connellsburg Spartans. Luke Mellott pumped in 18 points and had nine rebounds for the Indians, while Ryan Harper hit double digits with 14 points and four assists. McConnellsburg’s high scorer was Ryan Defibaugh with 17 points and 13 rebounds. Trevor Souders added six points.

Forbes Road 52

Fannett-Metal 34

The Forbes Road Cardinals jumped out to a lead early on Friday night and crushed the Fannett Metal Tigers 52-34. Jesse Newman netted 21 points to lead the Cardinals and also added 10 rebounds, seven assists and three steals. Trent Black also reached double figures with 14 points, and Tanner Henry was the next highest scorer with six points and three blocked shots.

Forbes Road 74

McConnellsburg 36

Forbes Road followed up its big victory over Fannett-Metal with a big 74-36 trouncing of the McConnellsburg Spartans Saturday. Tannery Henry netted 24 points and grabbed 11 rebounds for the Cardinals, who also got 18 points and five assists from Jesse Newman. Teammates and cousins Trent Black and Dylan Gelvin hit double digits with 13 and 11 points, respectively. Ryan Defibaugh posted 13 points for the McConnellsburg Spartans. Drew Wink and Trevor Souders both rallied for six points.

So. Fulton 61 Chestnut Ridge 46

Ryan Harper poured in 21 points to lead the Southern Fulton Indians during a 61-46 Sideling Hill League victory over Chestnut Ridge. Luke Mellott contributed 12 points and 11 rebounds, and Derek Younker tallied 11 points.
